Description
This information tool and quality system model for ISO 9001 should be used
- to obtain fast and easy information about the requirements of - and compliance with - the standard ISO 9001:2008
- to prepare required documents, such as quality manual, procedures and forms for the implementation and certification of a quality system ISO 9001:2008
For easy development of documents and procedures, this ISO 9001 quality management system model includes a quality manual, 55 operating procedures and work instructions including flowcharts, 70 templates and control forms, and a detailed checklist of ISO 9001:2008 requirements. All these documents are available in MS Word (.doc) format.
The quality manual references operating procedures, contains the organization’s quality policy, defines responsibilities and activities related to the quality system, and a flowchart shows the interaction of processes that are necessary to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. In addition to the 6 mandatory documented procedures and to provide further assistance with meeting the requirements of ISO 9001, 49 detailed operating procedures and work instructions are referenced and accessible, describing quality related activities of the departments of Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales and Warehouse. These sample procedures can be used as examples of how to create evidence of compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, and it is up to the discretion of the organization to document and implement these procedures, or just to use them as examples and guidance for the implementation of activities and processes which are necessary to meet the requirements of the standard.
